Back in the Groove

After the awaited lech lecha trip, we have finally started to get back into the groove of learning with new found respect for one another. We've come back to school with more motivation in our learning and a new appreciation for the land.

Now that we have gotten back into our routine, every girl has begun her choice of chessed. Our chessed range from food distribution, volunteering at a vet, nurturing sick animals, to "adopting a bubby" in the hopes of brightening their week. Volunteering in Israel enables us to do our part as members of Am Yisrael and give back to our people in a more personal respect we couldn't do at home.

In addition to our daily learning we had some exciting night activities. Last week the Shana bet girls organized a challah bake for the school in honor of the Shabbat project and the passing of Rebbetzin Henny Machlis, a true tzadeket of our time. This week, the madrichot hosted a "minute to win it" competition in which all the floors completed crazy challenges to win a pizza party. All in all another fantastic week!

A special thank you and farewell to Midreshets' cleaner, Yael. We know we weren’t always the neatest…We’ll miss you!
