Meaningful week...
We kicked this week off with an awesome trip to Chevron! On this tiyul we visited Me’arat Ha’machpela, where we davened mincha at the tziyon hakever of our avot and i’mahot. After that, we went to Beit Hadassah, where we toured the museum and watched a film about the history of this special city. Then of course pizza! What could be better! On the way back from Chevron, we were so privileged to be able to visit Oz v’Gaon, a place established in Gush Etzion in memory of Ayal, Gilad, and Naftal - three amazing boys that were taken from us only two summers ago. This place had a special connection to us specifically as well. It was that same place that Ezra Schwartz نظٌ was on his way to do Chessed, on the day he was tragically taken from us. Such a meaningful and amazing experience to us all!
On Tuesday and Wednesday, it was Rosh Chodesh Adar Aleph! Girls went to daven vatikin at the Kotel, and we were all treated to a delicious pancake breakfast.
Wednesday afternoon, the girls did amazing chessed, including food packaging at Yad Eliezer! Tizku Lemitzvot!
In addition, Wednesday was the annual Sharsheret "Pink Day" to raise awareness for breast cancer. We all dressed in pink – including Rav Eitan and Yaakov!
Looking forward to another meaningful experience at Yad Vashem next week! Stay tuned! Have an amazing and meaningful shabbos! Shabbat shalom!
