Super Sukkot

Hi Midreshet family. These past few weeks have been a whirlwind of excitement. To kick off Sukkot, the school surprised us with a trip to the beach. At the beach we got a chance to bond with each other and have fun together.

Sukkot in Eretz Yisrael has been educational, eventful, and all around a blast. Some girls had family come, while many others went to friends for chag. On Chol ha’moed, the madrichot planned super fun trips which many girls participated in. Those trips included ziplining in Chavat Erertz Ha'ayalim, Kad v’chomer in Jerusalem, county fairs and festivals, and many Simchat Beit Ha’sho’evot.

Some other incredible activities were experiencing Birkat Kohanim and Hakhel at the Kotel, where tens of thousands of Jews gathered together in order to be a part of this mitzvah.

With all the fun, came also sorrow as precious lives were lost due to terror. Our hearts are with the families who have lost those they hold so dear.

To end off our long break we had a much needed late wake up and a wonderful pancake breakfast. This helped us get back into our routine of learning.

More excitement lies ahead as we all look forward to our five day Lech Lecha journey, which begins Monday night. We can't wait for what next week has in store for us!
